These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Problyx, a social prediction market platform operated by Problyx. Problyx uses an internal virtual currency called Prediction Points (PP) that has no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash. By creating an account or using the platform, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of terms and 18+ requirement
Problyx is restricted to adults. By accessing or using the platform you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and that you accept these Terms of Service in full. At signup you must explicitly tick both the 18+ confirmation and the Terms acceptance checkbox; if you do not agree, do not use the platform. We may close any account we reasonably believe belongs to a minor.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account, and you must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or our community standards.
3. Prediction Points (PP) — virtual currency, not real money
Problyx is a SOCIAL prediction market with a VIRTUAL currency. All markets, predictions, and rewards are denominated in Prediction Points (PP). PP have NO MONETARY VALUE, are NOT redeemable for cash or any other real-world asset, and CANNOT be transferred, sold, or exchanged outside the platform. Because no real money or item of monetary value is wagered, Problyx is not gambling under most jurisdictions; you are nonetheless responsible for confirming that participating in social prediction games is permitted where you live. Markets resolve based on publicly verifiable outcomes; resolution decisions made by Problyx administrators are final. Self-predicting on user-created markets and other manipulative behavior is prohibited and may result in forfeiture of points or account suspension.
4. User-generated content
You retain ownership of content you post — markets, comments, wall threads, profile information — but you grant Problyx a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute it on the platform. You are responsible for ensuring your content is lawful, accurate, and does not infringe third-party rights. We may remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.
5. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to: (a) create multiple accounts to manipulate markets or evade rate limits; (b) post unlawful, harassing, or fraudulent content; (c) attempt to access or scrape the platform through automated means without authorization; (d) reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the operation of the service; (e) use the platform to violate any applicable law or regulation.
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these terms or if we determine in good faith that termination is necessary to protect the platform or other users. You may close your account at any time by contacting support.
7. Disclaimers
Problyx is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Markets and forecasts are for informational and entertainment purposes only and do not constitute financial, legal, or professional advice. We do not guarantee uptime, data accuracy, or that the platform will be error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Problyx and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed €100.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
